As we look towards the future, here is a look back.

As 2014 is in our rearview and we get ready to tackle 2015, we wanted to take a moment and look back at some of our highlights. Over the past year we have been fortunate to commission countless portraits, helping bring the joy of art and creativity into the homes of our customers and their friends. Many laughs, smiles and hugs were had and we are honoured to have helped create these moments.

We started off 2014 by commissioning a few portraits for Connor Barwin of the Philadelphia Eagles. "The Rembrandt of the NFL" as he is now known metamorphosed the profiles of Eagles' linebackers into immaculate aristocratic portraits which now proudly hang in the linebacker room. On the portraits, Barwin said "I thought it would be really funny to add some artwork," adding "I also thought it would be cool whenever a player leaves he can take it with him and have something to remember his time in Philly."

Towards the end of the year, we were fortunate enough to commission a portrait celebrating the birthday of one todays top pop artists. What do you get someone like Bruno Mars for their birthday?  In this case, a portrait of Bruno along with his model girlfriend Jessica Caban and his adorable Rottweiler Geronimo. The masterpiece was based off of Joseph Wrights 1786 portrait of Thomas Gisborn and his wife. Thanks to this we were fortunate enough to be picked up in the NY Post and across the pond at the UK's The Independent newspaper.

We wanted to thank everyone who helped make 2014 the year it was. From fighting a bear or a saber-toothed tiger to being dressed like Napoleon Bonaparte riding a T-Rex, we have painted some very creative ideas. We are looking forward to the challenges and joys that 2015 will bring, our goal is to introduce affordable frames so that customers can send and receive framed paintings from the comfort of their living room and office.
